Privacy
SI(cinema) is an app and a website that play music videos. It is made by Vitakka Consulting.
The short version
- No account. No sign-in.
- No ads. No cookies. Nothing follows you from site to site.
- The website counts visits without knowing who you are. See “The website”.
- We do not collect, sell or share personal data.
What stays on your phone
- Your Library: the songs you kept and the songs you played.
- Your settings: the dark or the light look, and whether stations include YouTube videos.
These are saved on your device only. They are not sent to us. If you back up your phone, the backup includes them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Where the videos come from
We find music videos that their creators posted openly on YouTube and on X.
- The list of videos comes from our own site.
- Many videos play in YouTube’s own player, and their pictures come from YouTube. YouTube is a Google service, and Google’s privacy policy applies to that player: policies.google.com/privacy
- The other video files and their pictures come from claudevideo.org, a public directory of videos that were first posted on X.
When your device asks one of these services for a file, that service sees your IP address and basic technical details of the request, as any website does. Our host keeps ordinary technical logs for a short time. We do not use them to identify anyone.
The website
- No cookies.
- The site remembers the look you chose, paper or void, in your browser. It stays in your browser.
- The Tune in page plays the same videos from the same places as the app.
- We count visits with our host’s own tool, Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies. For each visit it notes the page, the site you came from, your country, region and city, and the kind of device and browser. The count is not tied to a person or to an IP address, and what tells one visitor from another is discarded after 24 hours. Vercel describes it here: vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy
Figures from Apple
Apple gives app makers figures such as downloads, sessions and crashes. They come only from people who agreed, in their iPhone’s settings, to share them with app makers, and they do not say who anyone is. The app itself sends us nothing.
Your data
- We keep no record of who you are: no account, no name, no email address.
- What the app saves is on your phone. Delete the app and it is gone.
- If you write to us, we keep your message and your address to answer you. Ask, and we delete them.
- Wherever you live, you may ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it: hello@sicinema.app
Links
Each song credits its creator and links to the creator’s own page. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
SI(cinema) is not made for children under 13.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes.
