What you need

An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. For the car: CarPlay.

The music stops when I lock the phone

Videos marked EMBED play in YouTube’s own player. They stop when you lock the phone. That is YouTube’s rule. Open the help page in the app and turn off “Include YouTube videos”: stations then skip them, and the music keeps playing.

In the car

Stations, your Library and what is playing now show on the car’s screen. A station started on the car’s screen leaves out YouTube videos, so it keeps playing with the phone locked.

New songs

New videos are found and added a few times a day. No app update is needed.

I made one of these videos

Every video belongs to its creator. If a video is yours and you want it removed, or credited in another way, write to us and we do it.
